In this context, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve leading by example, mentoring team members, and ensuring that all projects are delivered with the highest quality, scalability, and security in mind. Your expertise in React will be instrumental in shaping architectural decisions and driving technical briefs for clients.

## What You Will Do - Provide technical and line-management leadership to your development team, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the team is motivated and directed towards common goals.

• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, including managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
• Identify and resolve blockers before they become issues, leveraging your expertise and experience to navigate complex technical challenges.
• Ensure that software development, DevOps, and agile methodologies are upheld within the team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Work directly with clients to understand their technical requirements, translating these into actionable technical briefs that drive project development.
• Shape and define architectural decisions, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Provide regular updates to clients and NearForm leadership, ensuring that project status is clearly communicated and that decisions are informed by accurate and timely information.
• Collaborate with distributed teams, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build secure, high-performance applications that meet client needs.

## What We Are Looking For - Significant experience in software engineering, either as a Senior Engineer leading projects and mentoring or as a Technical Lead.

• Proficiency in React, with a deep understanding of its applications and best practices.
• Experience working directly with clients or customers to understand technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Proven track record of leading software engineering teams through technical delivery and direct line management or mentoring.
• Deep understanding of agile ways of working, best practices, and design patterns.
• Experience with test-driven development and testing best practices.
• Familiarity with version control tools, such as Git.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Awareness of operational concerns, including monitoring, performance testing, security considerations, accessibility, and GDPR.

## Nice to Have - Experience with a headless CMS, ideally with Contentful.

• Knowledge of other programming languages and technologies, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
