About the Role

The Technical Account Manager position at Guidewire Software is a critical role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Guidewire Cloud customers, providing technical enablement and guidance to ensure their success. You will work closely with the Customer Success and Alliances organization to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive long-term growth.

The role involves working with customers at various stages of their journey, from onboarding to post-production, and serving as a primary liaison between the customer team and the Guidewire Product Development & Operations team. You will be responsible for providing technical feature education, service management, and escalation support to ensure that customers are able to fully utilize the Guidewire Cloud platform.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Guidewire Cloud customers
  • Provide technical enablement and guidance to customers
  • Serve as a primary liaison between the customer team and the Guidewire Product Development & Operations team
  • Deliver technical feature education and training to customers
  • Manage service requests and escalations
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success and Alliances organization to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Develop and execute plans to ensure customer success and drive long-term growth
  • Work closely with the Guidewire Product Development & Operations team to resolve technical issues and improve the overall customer experience
  • Participate in quarterly business reviews and other strategic planning activities
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Guidewire products and services

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical account management or similar role
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with cloud-based platforms and software as a service (SaaS) models
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with project management and coordination
  • Familiarity with Guidewire products and services (desired)
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science or engineering
  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Certification in a technical field, such as cloud computing or cybersecurity
