About the Role
The Technical Account Manager role at Hightouch is a critical component of the Customer Success team, responsible for overseeing the entire customer journey from kick-off to onboarding and continued customer success. This involves understanding customer requirements and issues at a deep level and leveraging product expertise to ensure customers maximize the use of the Hightouch platform. The ideal candidate will have a natural curiosity to uncover customer use cases and navigate them towards the most elegant and efficient solutions, utilizing data to its fullest extent.As a Technical Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for Hightouch's largest Enterprise customers, ensuring their needs are met and they achieve their desired outcomes through the platform. This requires not only technical expertise but also strong communication and project management skills to deliver timely and organized onboarding processes and provide proactive technical guidance.
Hightouch is at the intersection of two significant technological shifts: advances in LLMs and agentic AI, and the creation and rapid adoption of cloud data warehouses. What You Will Do
- Deliver a timely and organized onboarding for customers through effective project management.
- Ensure customers see the full value in Hightouch’s products and advise on technical best practices.
- Provide customers with clear, proactive technical guidance and expertise across all Hightouch products.
- Collaborate with Customer Support, Engineering, and other teams to assist with technical escalations.
- Contribute towards the success of the Hightouch platform by surfacing use cases and problems to Engineering that push our product to the next level.
- Work closely with Sales to strategize on how to increase the adoption of Hightouch within large organizations.
- Oversee the retention and expansion of Hightouch’s largest Enterprise customers.
- Guide the customer into their ideal future state through the effective use of the Hightouch platform.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
- 5-10 years of experience in a client-facing and/or technology-focused role where business experience and technical acumen were combined.
- Experience managing and executing technical projects with a customer-first attitude and a strong sense of empathy.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand complex systems (SQL, databases, APIs, reporting tools, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a continuous desire to improve your technical acumen.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with different teams and types of people.
- Ability to work under pressure, deadlines, and navigate unexpected roadblocks with ease.
- Experience with Excel and AI marketing platforms is a significant advantage.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake and Databricks.
- Knowledge of agentic AI and LLMs.
- Certification in project management or a related field.
- Experience in the marketing and growth sector.
