About the Role

The Technical Account Manager position at Twilio is a critical role that involves providing technical support and guidance to the company's strategic customers. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for these customers, working to resolve complex technical issues and ensuring that they are able to effectively utilize Twilio's products and services. The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve working closely with customers to understand their technical requirements, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and developing creative solutions to complex problems. What You Will Do

  • Provide technical support and guidance to Twilio's strategic customers, working to resolve complex technical issues and ensure that they are able to effectively utilize the company's products and services
  • Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements, identifying and troubleshooting issues and developing creative solutions to complex problems
  • Collaborate with Twilio's Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback and insights that can help to inform the development of new products and services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, working to identify opportunities to drive growth and expansion
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud-based technologies, including RESTful APIs and other relevant tools and platforms
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying current with industry trends and best practices
  • Work effectively in a remote setting, utilizing digital tools and platforms to collaborate with colleagues and communicate with customers
  • Volunteer for holiday coverage on a stipend basis as needed
  • Analyze customer trends, driving betterments and reporting observations to the management team to improve the support process

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a technical account management or similar role
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with RESTful APIs, cloud-based technologies, and other relevant tools and platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Node.js, PHP, C#, Python, and client-side JavaScript, with a good understanding of React and Redux
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and support

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Twilio's products and services, or similar cloud-based communication platforms
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
  • Certification in a relevant technical area, such as cloud computing or cybersecurity
