About the Role
The Technical Architect, Go-to-Market role at Dropbox is a unique opportunity to define how the company's go-to-market platforms work together in practice. As a key member of the GTM TechOps team, you will be responsible for translating business strategy and process into scalable system design across Salesforce, marketing automation, customer success, support platforms, and the broader data and AI stack. This role requires a deep understanding of the customer lifecycle, from initial touch to renewal and expansion, and the ability to design systems that support this lifecycle.The GTM TechOps team is responsible for the systems, data, and automation that power the full customer lifecycle. As a Technical Architect, you will work closely with engineering, product, operations, and data teams to ensure that the systems you design are buildable, adoptable, and durable. You will also be responsible for ensuring clean handoffs, consistent data models, and scalable automation across domains.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in system design, architecture, and implementation. You will be a collaborative team player, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
What You Will Do
- Define how systems connect across the full customer lifecycle, from initial touch to renewal and expansion
- Structure solutions around core business capabilities to reduce fragmentation and improve reuse
- Ensure clean handoffs, consistent data models, and scalable automation across domains
- Lead architecture for Salesforce, marketing automation, customer success platforms, and support tooling
- Partner with data teams to align system design with the GTM data model and downstream analytics needs
- Define how AI is embedded into GTM workflows
- Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and data teams to ensure that systems are buildable, adoptable, and durable
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve the GTM TechOps function
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in system design, architecture, and implementation
- Strong technical background, with experience in Salesforce, marketing automation, and customer success platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with data modeling, data governance, and data quality
- Strong understanding of the customer lifecycle, and the ability to design systems that support this lifecycle
- Experience with AI and machine learning, and the ability to define how these technologies are embedded into GTM workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins or Docker
- Certification in Salesforce, marketing automation, or customer success platforms
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
