## About the Role The Technical Consultant, S/4HANA, plays a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining partnerships with Ramp's customers, acting as a liaison between customers and internal technical teams. This role is critical in driving customer success and scaling Ramp's solutions to meet the evolving needs of its clients. The Technical Consultant will be working closely with the Customer Activation and Account Management teams to identify, prioritize, and build financial solutions for new and existing customers. This involves a deep understanding of the customer's financial and technical requirements, designing solutions that leverage Ramp's capabilities and partner integrations. The success of Ramp's customers is directly tied to the effectiveness of its Technical Consultants, who must balance technical expertise with the ability to understand and address customer needs. This role is specifically focused on Enterprise and Strategic Enterprise customers running SAP S/4HANA, requiring the ability to support large, complex organizations with multi-entity environments, advanced ERP integrations, and highly customized financial workflows.
## What You Will Do - Serve as the primary Technical Consultant for Enterprise and Strategic Enterprise accounts running SAP S/4HANA.
- Act as a technical advisor to customers and Ramp's internal teams, supporting high-value implementations and expansion opportunities.
- Partner with Customer Activation and Account Management teams to assess customer requirements and propose scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with onboarding specialists and implementation leads to support technical workstreams.
- Work with customers to problem-solve technical hurdles and propose effective product implementations.
- Participate in technical discovery to understand customer S/4HANA environments and workflows.
- Be a subject matter expert across SAP S/4HANA and Ramp's accounting integration capabilities.
- Troubleshoot S/4HANA integration blockers and guide customers through complex configuration decisions.
- Contribute to internal documentation and tooling that scales Ramp's ability to support S/4HANA integration use cases.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly in complex, multi-entity environments.
- Ability to design solutions that address customer needs through Ramp and partner integrations.
- Strong understanding of financial and technical success criteria from onboarding through activation and expansion.
- Experience in a similar technical consulting role, preferably in a fast-paced, scaling company.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to operate with deep conviction and understanding of Ramp's technical capabilities.
- Knowledge of cloud-based financial management systems.
- Certification in SAP S/4HANA or related technologies.
- Experience working in a remote environment, with a proven ability to self-manage and work autonomously.
