About the Role
The Technical Customer Success Manager role at Posthog is a unique opportunity for a customer-obsessed individual to take care of a large number of the company's larger customers. This involves engaging with them regularly to ensure their continued retention and growth, leveraging technical skills to help customers overcome challenges and achieve their goals. As a key member of the customer success team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying areas of improvement, and working closely with internal stakeholders to drive product development and strategy.The role is highly autonomous, with a focus on shipping fast and delivering results. You will be expected to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to meet customer needs. As a Technical Customer Success Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving customer success and growth, working closely with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. What You Will Do
- Engage with customers regularly to ensure their continued retention and growth
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying areas of improvement and working closely with internal stakeholders to drive product development and strategy
- Leverage technical skills to help customers overcome challenges and achieve their goals
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product and engineering teams, to drive product development and strategy
- Identify areas of improvement and develop solutions to meet customer needs
- Develop and deliver training and support programs to help customers get the most out of Posthog's products
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for customer growth and retention
- Analyze customer data to identify trends and areas of improvement
- Develop and maintain documentation and resources to support customer success
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a technical customer success or sales engineering role
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong understanding of customer success principles and practices
- Experience working with remote teams and customers
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze customer data and identify trends and areas of improvement

- Certification in customer success or a related field
