About the Role

Anthropic is seeking a Technical Influence Operations Threat Investigator to join its Threat Intelligence team. This role involves detecting, investigating, and disrupting the misuse of Anthropic’s AI systems for influence operations, disinformation campaigns, and other forms of information manipulation.

Responsibilities

  • Detect and investigate attempts to misuse Anthropic’s AI systems for influence operations
  • Conduct technical investigations using SQL, Python, and other tools to analyze large datasets and uncover coordinated networks of threat actors
  • Develop influence operation-specific detection capabilities, including abuse signals and detection methodologies
  • Create actionable intelligence reports on influence operation TTPs and threat actor campaigns
