About the Role
The Technical Program Manager role at Twilio is a critical position that drives the company's GTM processes and automation infrastructure forward. As a highly strategic and collaborative professional, you will be responsible for defining, planning, and executing complex, cross-functional programs that have a significant impact on the business. You will work closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Sales Strategy, and other operational teams to ensure strategic alignment and successful delivery of impactful initiatives.Twilio's GTM Sales Automation team is at the forefront of innovation, leveraging technology to drive sales productivity and customer engagement. The role reports to the GTM Sales Automation leadership team and will have a significant impact on the company's overall sales strategy and execution. You will be responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives, managing stakeholders, and ensuring that programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
What You Will Do
- Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, objectives, key results (OKRs), timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive execution of these programs, often involving new tool implementations, large-scale process re-engineering, or new internal product launches.
- Facilitate regular steering committee meetings and communicate program status, risks, and dependencies to executive stakeholders.
- Ensure change management plans are in place to drive successful adoption and utilization of new processes and technologies.
- Work with Sales Automation leaders to define and lead intra-departmental initiatives.
- Proactively identify risks, remove roadblocks, and champion adoption of new processes, tools, or strategies across GTM teams.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all programs and initiatives, measuring their impact on GTM effectiveness and/or sales productivity.
- Create compelling reports and presentations for various audiences, including executive leadership, on program progress, outcomes, and business impact.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess success and identify lessons learned.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a technical program management role, preferably in a sales or marketing automation context.
- Strong expertise in GTM, Salesforce, and Excel.
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional initiatives and managing stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decisions.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira).
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration).

- Experience with AI-powered tools and technologies.
- Certification in program management (e.g., PMP, Agile).
