About the Role
The Technical Program Manager, Robotic Automation will play a key role in leading Iron Mountain's entry into robotics, a highly visible program that marks a significant milestone in their operational transformation journey. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end project execution, serving as the technical and business liaison with robotic automation partners to ensure that the solution meets operational and business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to rally internal and external team members to work towards a common goal.The role will involve managing the overall project scope, metrics, budget, and schedule, as well as coordinating risk analysis, validation tests, and proofs of concept. The successful candidate will be able to balance trade-offs for automation solutions, work through challenges and setbacks, and navigate the path to successful deployment and operation of automated solutions.

What You Will Do
- Lead the overall execution of the robotic project according to defined scope, cost, and schedule.
- Act as the main point of contact between the robotic design firm, manufacturing partners, Iron Mountain operations, and internal support functions.
- Coordinate risk analysis with the integrator and manage validation tests and/or proofs of concept on critical automation steps.
- Ensure that the project achieves its performance targets in terms of time to market, capacity, quality, throughput, cost, and availability.
- Manage project governance, including the preparation and facilitation of regular Steering Committees.
- Guarantee compliance with all industrial, safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Lead the discussion and planning on the details of suitable use cases, including the phased adoption of advanced automation in Iron Mountain operations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with all stakeholders across Iron Mountain.
- Work with internal stakeholders and customers to develop business requirements, technical and standards parameters for the process.
- Develop/review concepts to confirm the design will meet required performance metrics.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in robotics or automation.
- Strong technical background, with knowledge of robotic automation systems and technologies.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Experience with risk analysis, validation tests, and proofs of concept.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to rally internal and external team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance trade-offs for automation solutions.
- Experience with project governance, compliance, and regulatory standards.
Nice to Have
- Experience with 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of data centers, asset lifecycle management, and fine art storage, handling, and logistics.
- Experience with digital transformation services and records and information management.
- Certification in project management, such as PMP or Agile.
