About the Role

The Technical Recruiter position at Bjak is a hands-on, execution-focused role that supports end-to-end recruiting for the company's product, engineering, and business teams. As a key member of the recruiting team, you will work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a seamless hiring process. This role is an ideal fit for someone early in their career who is eager to learn the ins and outs of high-quality technical hiring.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve coordinating interviews, scheduling, and feedback collection with candidates and hiring managers. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data quality and process consistency.

What You Will Do

  • Support the full recruitment process across roles, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination and offer support
  • Source candidates through a mix of channels, including LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, and proactive outreach
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate screens to assess basic role fit, motivation, and communication skills
  • Coordinate interviews, scheduling, and feedback collection with candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS, ensuring data quality and process consistency
  • Support recruiting projects and process improvements as the team scales, including candidate experience and employer branding initiatives
  • Help keep hiring operations organised, responsive, and moving at pace
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve the overall hiring process

What We Are Looking For

  • 0-2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, operations, coordination, or related roles
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working with tools such as Google Sheets/Excel and basic ATS systems
  • A proactive, learning-oriented mindset and openness to feedback
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through reliably
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
