About the Role
The Technical Recruiter position at Red Cell Partners is a critical component of the company's growth strategy, enabling the organization to attract and retain top technical talent in the defense tech and AI sectors. As a key member of the People Operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process, from initial candidate sourcing to complex offer negotiations. This role requires a deep understanding of the technical skills and competencies required for specialized positions, including software engineering, AI/ML, data science, and operations research.The Technical Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers and the Manager of People Operations to scope roles, align on candidate profiles, and drive efficient hiring decisions. This will involve developing and executing strategic sourcing plans to build a pipeline of elite passive talent, with a focus on candidates holding or eligible for security clearances.
What You Will Do
- Lead and execute end-to-end technical recruiting processes for specialized roles
- Collaborate with hiring managers to scope roles and align on candidate profiles
- Proactively build a pipeline of elite passive talent within the AI and defense sectors
- Refine interview processes and feedback mechanisms to ensure a top-notch candidate experience
- Support the evolution of the onboarding program into a scalable, day-one ready experience
- Identify and resolve friction points in the employee lifecycle
- Partner with the Manager of People Operations to drive People initiatives, including process improvement and employee lifecycle programs
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers and candidates
- Analyze recruiting metrics and provide insights to inform hiring decisions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical recruiting
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally within a high-growth startup or fast-paced technology environment
- Proven ability to manage the entire talent funnel, from initial intake to complex offer negotiations
- Strong interest in People Operations and a desire to build and improve processes
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ambiguity
- Experience recruiting for technical roles, including software engineering, AI/ML, and data science
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and onboarding software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting for cleared roles
- Familiarity with Greenhouse (ATS and Onboarding)
- Experience working in a PEO environment
- Knowledge of government contracting and defense tech talent landscapes
