About the Role
The Technician 3 role at Sunbelt Rentals is a key position that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail. As a Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and large-scale power generators. What You Will Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Conduct advanced diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime

- Provide training and support to junior technicians as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs

What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5+ years of experience as a technician, preferably in the equipment rental industry
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work in a variety of environments
Nice to Have
- Trade school or equivalent training in a related field
- Experience with large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, or oil and gas equipment
- Certification in a relevant field, such as hydraulic or electrical systems
