Job Description

## About the Role As a Telecom Support Engineer at CommIT, you will be part of a dynamic team providing technical support to major telecom customers across the EU. Your primary focus will be on resolving complex technical issues, analyzing network KPIs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom, with experience in querying databases and fetching data to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

The role is critical in ensuring seamless operations and maintenance of telecom networks, and you will be working closely with the customer team to provide information and resolve issues. Your expertise in SQL, cellular protocols, and linux will be essential in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues quickly and efficiently.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to work in shifts and travel on-site for business needs. The company values independence, customer interaction skills, and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment.

## What You Will Do - Analyze issues relating to telecom network KPIs and identify root causes - Provide technical guidance to customers and resolve complex technical issues - Work with the customer team to provide information out of the partner tool - Query databases and fetch data to access necessary information - Perform daily operations and maintenance, and resolve system-related issues - Identify, diagnose, and resolve system-related issues with good troubleshooting and root cause finding - Collaborate with the team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues efficiently - Travel on-site for business needs and work in a 24/7 environment - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the partner's products and services

## What We Are Looking For - 2-3 years of relevant experience in telecom support or a related field - Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to query databases - Understanding of cellular protocols and linux - Basic system skills, including cloud and cloud native understanding - Excellent customer interaction skills and ability to work independently - Willingness to work in shifts and travel on-site for business needs - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues

## Nice to Have - Knowledge of Wireshark tool - Experience working with telecom networks and KPIs - Familiarity with cloud-based systems and architecture
