About the Role

The role of a Telehealth Endocrinologist at Allara Health is both challenging and rewarding. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where no two days are the same. What You Will Do

• Conduct thorough patient assessments via video visits to develop personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver the highest standards of care
• Complete required training(s) and uphold Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices
• Educate patients on preventative care and wellness using evidence-based strategies
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and complete charting in a timely manner
• Respond to patient questions and administrative messages and tasks with clarity and care
• Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week, including consultations and medical guidance, with prescribing when clinically appropriate
• Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to each patient's unique needs
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear and compassionate care

What We Are Looking For

• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine
• Endocrinology Fellowship Training & Board Eligibility: Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship
• Board-eligible in Endocrinology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
• Commitment to obtain ABIM board certification in Endocrinology within one year of hire
• Experience: All board-eligible Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply
• Women's health experience is a plus
• Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity

Nice to Have

• Prior telehealth experience is a plus
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other digital healthcare tools
• Familiarity with current clinical research and evidence-based practice
