About the Role
As a Telehealth Endocrinologist at Allara Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to women who have historically been underserved. What You Will Do
- Conduct thorough patient assessments via video visits to develop personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver the highest standards of care
- Complete required training(s) and uphold Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices
- Educate patients on preventative care and wellness using evidence-based strategies
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and complete charting in a timely manner
- Respond to patient questions and administrative messages and tasks with clarity and care
- Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week, including consultations and medical guidance, with prescribing when clinically appropriate
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to each patient's unique needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear and compassionate care
What We Are Looking For
- Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine
- Endocrinology Fellowship Training & Board Eligibility: Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship
- Board-eligible in Endocrinology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Commitment to obtain ABIM board certification in Endocrinology within one year of hire
- Experience: All board-eligible Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply
- Women's health experience is a plus
- Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity
Nice to Have
- Prior telehealth experience is a plus
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other digital healthcare tools
- Familiarity with current clinical research and evidence-based practice
