About the Role
As a Telehealth Gynecologist at Allara Health, you will play a critical role in delivering expert care to women across the United States. You will work remotely, using video visits to conduct patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans. What You Will Do
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans via video visits
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver the highest standards of care
- Complete required training and uphold Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices
- Educate patients on preventative care and wellness using evidence-based strategies
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and complete charting in a timely manner
- Respond to patient questions and administrative messages and tasks with clarity and care
- Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week, including consultations and medical guidance
- Prescribe medication when clinically appropriate
- Work with patients to manage chronic and complex conditions, including PCOS, Endometriosis, and Menopause
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to each patient's unique needs
What We Are Looking For
- Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certification: Active national board certification in Gynecology
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of consecutive clinical experience as a Gynecologist
- Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity
- Webside Manner: A natural ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting
- Evidence-Based Practice: A genuine commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working across multiple platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools
Nice to Have
- Prior telehealth experience
- Experience working with patients who have historically been underserved
- Knowledge of women's health issues, including PCOS, Endometriosis, and Menopause
- Certification in a related field, such as obstetrics or reproductive endocrinology
