About the Role
The Telehealth Psychologist position at OOCA is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients in need of mental health services. As a key member of the care team, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and developing treatment plans for patients remotely. This role entails a deep understanding of telehealth technology and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve conducting initial patient assessments, providing evidence-based psychological interventions, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will also participate in peer consultation and supervision meetings to ensure continuous improvement and growth.

What You Will Do
- Conduct initial patient assessments to identify their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based, patient-focused psychological interventions remotely via phone and video.
- Collaborate with other members of the care team to deliver interdisciplinary care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to the highest standards of patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Participate in peer consultation and supervision meetings to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills in the field of Telehealth psychology to provide the most effective care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient engagement and outcomes.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in telehealth to improve service delivery.
- Participate in company-sponsored conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance professional development.
What We Are Looking For
- Must be a Korean native speaker or have achieved TOPIK II (level 5-6) in Korean language proficiency.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology or a related field.
- Active state licensure as a Psychologist.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing Telehealth Psychological services.
- Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based psychological interventions remotely.
- Familiarity with assessment tools, including cognitive, personality, and diagnostic measures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently as needed.

- Experience with telemedicine technology and electronic health records.
- Knowledge of Korean culture and healthcare system.
- Certification in a specialty area of psychology, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy.
