This role is embedded directly within product squads and focuses on core clinical experience areas such as Measurement-Based Care, Provider & Care Hub experience, and AI safety initiatives. Given the critical nature of this position, you will be working closely with both Product and Clinical teams to ensure the highest level of clinical integrity and safety in product design and decision-making.

The Temp Clinical Product Lead position is a remote, US-based role expected to last approximately 6 months, with a standard full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. This role is pivotal in ensuring that clinical requirements are translated into product strategy, requirements, and execution plans, and that feedback loops between frontline care teams and product teams are maintained.

Headspace is committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for its users, and this role is central to achieving that goal. By working directly with product teams, you will ensure that clinical standards, guardrails, and scope are driven by evidence and best practices, and that cross-functional decision-making processes prioritize clinical appropriateness and safety.

  • Serve as the connective tissue between Product, Care Delivery, and Clinical Leadership.
  • Ensure feedback loops between frontline care teams and product teams are active and informative.
  • Drive alignment on clinical standards, guardrails, and scope.
  • Facilitate cross-functional decision-making where clinical risk or ambiguity exists.
  • Review AI-enabled experiences for clinical appropriateness and safety considerations.
  • Support iteration of escalation pathways and risk governance.
  • Contribute to evidence planning and execution where relevant.

What We Are Looking For

  • Advanced clinical degree (e.g., PhD, MD).
  • Proven experience in a clinical product leadership role or similar.
  • Strong understanding of clinical standards and practices.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product and clinical teams.
  • Ability to navigate and manage clinical risk and ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with AI safety and related regulatory considerations.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and how to apply them in product development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the development of digital health products.
  • Knowledge of current healthcare trends and technologies.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Certification in a relevant clinical or product area.

Benefits and Perks

  • Remote work arrangement with flexible scheduling.
  • Access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plans.
