## About the Role The Technical Solutions Specialist role at Stripe is a unique blend of technical expertise and customer-facing interaction. Day-to-day, you will be working closely with users to resolve their queries, whether through email, chat, or occasional phone calls. ## What You Will Do - Troubleshoot user issues across multiple platforms, including email, chat, and phone support - Partner with mentors to achieve focused learning objectives designed to improve your developer skills - Work a mixed schedule to provide 24/5 front-line developer support and guidance - Analytically approach tracking points of friction for users and collaborate with other teams to make those parts of Stripe better - Optimize internal and external documentation for all of Stripe's products - Collaborate with Technical Solutions Engineering and Product Engineering to solve sophisticated technical issues - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Stripe's products and APIs - Identify and prioritize areas for improvement in the user experience and work with relevant teams to implement changes - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance your skills and knowledge - Participate in knowledge-sharing activities to contribute to the team's collective expertise
## What We Are Looking For - Ability to clearly and confidently communicate technical guidance to users of varied technical backgrounds - Passion for interacting with new people and chatting live with many at the same time - Familiarity with SQL and comfort building basic queries and modifying more complex ones - Strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience interfacing with technical teams - Excellent written communication skills, with a passion to interact with users and stakeholders clearly and empathetically - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities - Experience with developer tools and technologies, such as APIs and programming languages - Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
