About the Role

The Record Associate Agent role is a temporary position that will last up to six months. As a key member of the Cotiviti team, you will be responsible for reviewing and associating medical records to the correct location for client downloading. This role is crucial in ensuring that sensitive medical information is handled accurately and efficiently. What You Will Do

  • Review medical records and associate individual records to the correct location for client downloading
  • Perform quality checks prior to associating each record for download, ensuring all protected health information is safeguarded
  • Identify incoming invoices and provide them to the PIQ lead
  • Process incoming authorizations for request of records in a timely manner
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined on the annual Performance Plan
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Maintain accurate records and meet productivity standards
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental goals

What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Previous healthcare experience, specifically with medical records
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of ownership and accountability
  • Strong attention to detail, including planning, executing, and follow-up procedures
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable punctuality and ability to maintain a consistent schedule
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
