About the Role
The Territory Account Executive role at Cloudflare is a critical position that drives new business growth in Eastern Canada. As a key member of the sales team, you will identify and qualify target commercial accounts for Cloudflare's Enterprise service plan, leveraging your technical background and sales expertise to drive customer engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical professionals, senior executives, and infrastructure teams, to deliver compelling value propositions and solutions that meet the needs of Cloudflare's customers.The sales team at Cloudflare is responsible for helping customers solve real technical problems while creating revenue streams that support the company's mission to provide free services to millions of users. As a Territory Account Executive, you will play a key role in achieving this mission by developing and executing comprehensive account and territory plans, increasing sales in your defined territory, and creating long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account and territory plan to drive sales growth
- Identify and qualify target commercial accounts for Cloudflare's Enterprise service plan
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services
- Manage contract negotiations and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical professionals, senior executives, and infrastructure teams
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the cloud industry
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain partner relationships as they relate to the customer base
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of sales experience in the tech industry, preferably in a cloud-related field
- Strong technical background and understanding of cloud technology
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and meeting revenue targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with sales software and CRM systems
- Knowledge of cloud security and infrastructure technologies
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science or business administration
