About the Role
The Territory Sales Officer role at Unilever is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a unique blend of sales, marketing, and distribution management skills. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing the distribution system in your assigned territory. Your day will typically involve visiting markets, analyzing sales data, and negotiating with distributors to achieve your targets.The role is based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and you will be reporting to the Area Sales Manager. You will be expected to work closely with the sales team, distributors, and other stakeholders to achieve your objectives. What You Will Do
- Achieve sales targets through personal selling and driving the distribution system
- Manage the distributor system, including front-end and back-end infrastructure
- Analyze MIS reports to identify gaps and opportunities to improve execution and performance
- Negotiate with distributors and develop their skills to manage customers and obtain more business
- Cultivate and leverage relationships with trade to strengthen Unilever's market position
- Provide market feedback and reports to the branch office
- Analyze how to improve the competitive position in the market through improved customer service
- Monitor the performance of distributors and their sales teams, and take corrective action when necessary
- Conduct promotional activities and execute sales plans
- Use MS-Office, particularly Excel, to analyze sales data and create reports
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum full-time graduation
- At least 2 years of experience in channel sales
- Excellent ROI calculations and distribution management skills
- Strong knowledge of RS appointment and sales planning
- Ability to conduct promotional activities and execute sales plans
- Proficiency in MS-Office, particularly Excel
- Decent communication skills in English and the local language
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets

- Experience working in the FMCG sector
- Knowledge of sales analytics and data analysis tools
- Certification in sales or marketing
- Ability to speak multiple languages
