About the Role

The Territory Sales Officer role at Unilever is a critical position that entails managing sales targets, distributor systems, and analyzing market trends to drive business growth. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets through a combination of personal selling and driving the distribution system. Your day will involve visiting markets, analyzing MIS reports, and negotiating with distributors to strengthen Unilever's market position.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the distributor system, including front-end and back-end infrastructure
  • Analyze MIS reports to identify gaps and opportunities to improve execution and performance
  • Negotiate with distributors to strengthen Unilever's market position
  • Cultivate and leverage relationships with trade partners to generate market feedback and reports
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales performance and customer service
  • Monitor the performance of the distributor and distributor's sales team
  • Take corrective action to address infrastructure gaps
  • Conduct promotional activities and execute sales plans
  • Use MS-Office, particularly Excel, to analyze data and create reports

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum full-time graduation
  • At least 2 years of experience in channel sales
  • Excellent ROI calculations and RS distribution management skills
  • Ability to conduct promotional activities and execute sales plans
  • Knowledge of MS-Office, particularly Excel
  • Decent communication skills in English and local language
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
