About the Role

The Enterprise Account Executive role at Mistral is a pivotal position that involves driving the adoption of Mistral's AI solutions among strategic enterprise customers. This role requires a unique blend of strategic sales expertise, technical knowledge, and executive presence. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for leading the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and first introductions to closing complex enterprise agreements.

What You Will Do

  • Lead development through strategic outbound and qualified inbound efforts, driving engagement with high-potential enterprise customers.
  • Convert inbound opportunities into high-value partnerships, including upsells and bespoke enterprise agreements.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Support enterprise customers through Proof of Concept (POC) phases, ensuring a smooth and impactful evaluation process.
  • Translate successful evaluations into long-term production contracts by demonstrating clear ROI and business impact.
  • Align Mistral's capabilities with customer strategic priorities.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to convert leads into long-term customers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Lead negotiations and collaborate with legal, technical, and implementation teams to finalize agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with C-level executives, innovation leaders, and senior decision-makers.
  • Understand customer strategic priorities and position Mistral's AI capabilities as a critical enabler of their initiatives.
  • Guide executive stakeholders through complex technology adoption decisions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Mistral's AI platform and technical capabilities.
  • Work closely with implementation and engineering teams to address technical questions and ensure successful deployments.
  • Share customer insights internally to inform product development and strategy.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in strategy consulting or a related field, with a strong ability to structure complex problems and translate strategy into action.
  • A commercial mindset with a strong bias toward execution and a passion for deal-making.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • Executive presence, with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills.
  • Experience working on large transformation projects, particularly those involving AI, infrastructure, telecom, energy, or digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with AI, data platforms, or enterprise software ecosystems.
  • Ideally, a first role in sales, business development, or deal closing.

  • Experience in investment banking or a related field.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and their applications in enterprise environments.
  • Certification in sales or a related field, such as a CRS (Certified Revenue Specialist) designation.
