What You Will Do
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand, gather, and document business requirements
- Design, configure, and build Pega applications, including case management, workflows, user interfaces, and business logic using Pega tools (App Studio, Dev Studio)
- Implement integration points with databases, web services (REST/SOAP), and legacy systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
- Perform unit and integration testing, debug applications, and support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet quality standards and performance requirements
- Create and maintain documentation of application design, configurations, and system changes
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot technical issues, and enhance existing workflows
- Ensure all work adheres to Pega development best practices and guardrails
- Actively participate in team meetings and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Validate data integrity and support data migration testing efforts
- Collaborate with development and business teams to clarify requirements and expected outcomes
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Experience with Pega development tools and technologies
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
