What You Will Do
- Research and interpret real estate documents, district court proceedings, probate cases, and surveys to ensure accurate and comprehensive title reports.
- Communicate effectively with escrow staff, underwriting attorneys, and other stakeholders to provide exceptional service and support.
- Analyze and solve problems related to title insurance, including identifying and resolving potential issues and exceptions.
- Make insurability decisions and translate title insurance guidelines to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of title insurance products and services, including underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review title reports, Commitments, and Policies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes, including underwriting, escrow, and customer service.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and changes in regulations and laws affecting the title insurance industry.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including real estate agents, lenders, and other industry professionals.
What We Are Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., law, business, or real estate) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the title insurance business, with a strong understanding of title insurance products and services.
- Proven ability to multitask, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in computer systems and technology, with experience using title software and other industry-specific tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
