About the Role

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain CLIs, SDKs, and integrations for Unikraft's cloud solutions
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and prioritize areas for improvement in the cloud infrastructure
  • Develop automated testing and deployment scripts to ensure high-quality solutions
  • Work closely with the product team to understand customer needs and feedback
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for the solutions developed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud infrastructure and tooling
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for tooling engineering within the company
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of solutions

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in tooling engineering or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or C++
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and patterns
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with remote work and distributed teams
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools
