About the Role

The Total Rewards Manager role at PGIM Ireland is a critical position that entails developing and maintaining comprehensive compensation structures, managing headcount and compensation reporting analytics, and working closely with internal partners to execute initiatives. As a key member of the PGIM People Team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from around the world, gaining exposure to compensation, HR data, and practices across different geographies. The role is based in Letterkenny, with a hybrid work arrangement that requires two days of onsite work per week.

The Total Rewards team is responsible for designing, streamlining, and executing a wide variety of Total Reward processes, analytics, and forecasts. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, inquisitive, and analytical professional who can develop innovative solutions to support PGIM's dynamic business strategy. The role will involve working with People Business Leaders, People Operations, and PGIM Finance to develop and oversee streamlined approaches for headcount and compensation expense analytics.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain compensation structures based on benchmarking insights, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations
  • Manage headcount and compensation reporting analytics, including accruals, modeling, and forecasting for investment professionals, sales, and corporate staff
  • Work with internal partners to execute initiatives and creatively solve PGIM people-related compensation challenges
  • Develop and oversee a streamlined approach for headcount and compensation expense analytics, including accruals, modeling, and forecasting
  • Manage and execute year-end compensation processes for assigned PGIM areas, including compensation, promotions, and performance management
  • Advise People Team and business leaders on the impacts of the EU Pay Transparency Directive and maintain structures that support continued compliance
  • Manage ongoing market data matching and job architecture, ensuring accuracy and consistency, and deliver guidance and insights to colleagues on grade and pay structures
  • Manage ad-hoc requests and provide day-to-day compensation consulting support to PGIM Total Rewards and the broader People Team
  • Develop methods to manage headcount and compensation reporting analytics, compensation expense forecasting, and the year-end compensation process
  • Partner with People Business Leaders, People Operations, and PGIM Finance to design, streamline, and execute a wide variety of Total Reward processes, analytics, and forecasts

What We Are Looking For

  • 6-8 years of experience in HR Compensation roles, with a strong background in analytics and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to tell a story and derive insight from analysis to impact business decisions
  • Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIFs, Nesting, Power Pivot Tables, Charts) and exposure to Power BI, Visier, and/or other data analytics/visualization tools
  • Ability to prioritize and simultaneously execute on multiple projects with varied deadlines, with a strong work ethic and self-motivated approach
  • Developed AI promoting skills that support the continued use of Microsoft Co-Pilot
  • Strong relationship-building, partnering, influencing, interpersonal, and collaborative skills, with the ability to work flexibly and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience of working with Aon and/or WTW benchmarking data, with a strong understanding of compensation and benefits principles
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Curiosity and creativeness, with a passion for developing innovative approaches to solving compensation-related challenges and improving ways of working

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the financial services industry, asset management, and/or global experience, with a strong understanding of the complexities of international compensation and benefits
  • Experience with position management tools/systems, with a strong background in HR systems and data management
  • Experience with Workday and compensation management tools, with a strong understanding of the integration of HR systems and data analytics
  • Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft PowerPoint, with a strong background in data visualization and presentation
