About the Role

The Trade Marketing & Brand Activation Manager will play a crucial role in Cloetta's US expansion, driving brand activation and trade marketing initiatives to introduce the company's iconic European brands to American shoppers. This role will involve working closely with the Sales, Global Marketing, and retail partners to ensure consistent and effective execution of marketing plans. As a key member of the US team, the successful candidate will be responsible for adapting global brand strategies to the US market, executing retailer programs, and leading events, sampling, and consumer activation initiatives.

The role will require a deep understanding of the US confectionery market, consumer trends, and competitive activity. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing trade marketing initiatives, adapting global assets for local markets, and driving retailer engagement. What You Will Do

  • Execute US marketing initiatives aligned with global brand strategies and priorities
  • Adapt global assets and toolkits for US retailer and consumer needs
  • Coordinate project timelines and own the successful delivery of marketing programs
  • Ensure consistent brand execution across retail, digital, and experiential touchpoints
  • Create sell-in materials, retailer programs, and shopper marketing initiatives
  • Lead retailer presentations, category reviews, and activation plans alongside the Sales team
  • Lead retail promotions and retailer-specific marketing programs
  • Ensure brand consistency across all retailer-facing materials
  • Independently manage trade shows, sampling events, retailer meetings, and consumer experiences
  • Own influencer, social, and experiential programs in partnership with agency partners
  • Execute launch initiatives and promotional programs across key channels
  • Manage US creative, digital, PR, and experiential agencies
  • Manage timelines, project deliverables, and activation calendars
  • Connect global and local stakeholders to ensure aligned execution
  • Analyze US consumer trends, category dynamics, and competitive activity to inform business strategy and decision-making

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, brand activation, or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving successful trade marketing initiatives and brand activation programs
  • Strong understanding of the US confectionery market and consumer trends
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Global Marketing, and retail partners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Excel and other project management tools
  • Ability to adapt global brand strategies to local markets
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
