Job Description

About the Role

The Trading & Execution role at Deeter Analytics is a unique opportunity for a high-ceiling individual to work in a private investment office, managing a concentrated portfolio of liquid assets. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the precision execution of trades and real-time monitoring of portfolio risk. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to manage risk and make high-pressure decisions, with a strong background in decision science and a calculated temperament.

Day-to-day, you will work closely with the Principal to analyze market themes, develop data-driven trading strategies, and maintain a constant pulse on exposure. You will be the primary support to the Founder, handling daily trade execution across various asset classes and ensuring adherence to firm mandates.

What You Will Do

  • Handle daily trade execution across various asset classes, including equities, derivatives, and potentially commodities
  • Work closely with the Principal to analyze market themes and develop data-driven trading strategies
  • Maintain a constant pulse on exposure and ensure adherence to firm mandates
  • Provide quantitative support to the Founder, including data analysis and risk management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including counterparties and service providers
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to inform trading decisions
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
