About the Role

As a Transcription and Subtitling Specialist at Elevenlabs, you will be part of the Productions team, a new marketplace that combines AI audio tools with a network of human experts to deliver high-quality, human-edited transcripts, subtitles, dubs, audiobooks, and more. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include producing and reviewing highly accurate transcripts for a range of exciting content, as well as creating high-quality subtitles for video content following specific formatting rules and timing standards. You will work closely with the team to ensure that all content meets the company's high standards of quality and accuracy.

What You Will Do

  • Produce highly accurate transcripts for a range of content, including podcasts, videos, and interviews
  • Create high-quality subtitles for video content, following specific formatting rules and timing standards
  • Review and edit transcripts and subtitles to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Work closely with the Productions team to deliver high-quality content and meet project deadlines
  • Utilize Excel skills to manage and track transcription and subtitling projects
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement new processes and workflows
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in transcription and subtitling
  • Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving processes and workflows

What We Are Looking For

  • Native or near-native fluency in one or more supported languages
  • Prior experience in transcription or subtitling, with a strong understanding of linguistic accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and other relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows, with a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Background in linguistics, language technology, or media production is an asset
