The RainFocus platform is designed to elevate the attendee experience for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. The UI Developer will play a critical role in ensuring the platform meets the evolving needs of event organizers and attendees. With a focus on architecture, mentorship, innovation, and high-level strategy, this role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about driving technical excellence and making a meaningful impact on the events industry.

What You Will Do

• Lead the development of user interfaces for the RainFocus platform, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to architectural standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify complex business needs and architect solutions to solve them
• Evaluate new technologies and identify gaps in the current software suite, driving the adoption of new solutions
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance and support
• Champion team initiatives and drive innovation within the engineering and branding teams
• Ensure the high-scale, rigorous demands of Fortune 500 clients are met, providing technical expertise and support as needed
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity within the team
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to architectural standards
• Collaborate with the product management team to understand business requirements and drive the development of new features and functionalities

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in UI development, with a strong focus on technical leadership and architecture
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to champion team initiatives and drive innovation
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex technical problems and architect solutions
• Experience with mentoring junior staff and providing technical guidance and support
• Strong understanding of user interface design principles and human-centered design
• Experience with collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and branding

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, such as Jenkins or CircleCI
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience with implementing secure coding practices
