About the Role

The UI Developer position at Photon is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of web development principles, including front-end and back-end technologies. As a UI Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing web architectures using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and React JS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performance.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with other team members to develop reusable components, contributing to the design and architecture of software applications, and troubleshooting issues to ensure seamless user experiences. What You Will Do

  • Develop dynamic web applications using Core Java 11 and Spring Boot framework
  • Design and implement web architectures using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and React JS
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop reusable components for front-end and back-end technologies
  • Troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless user experiences
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of software applications
  • Articulate the implications of design and architectural decisions
  • Work with other team members for one or more Agile scrum teams assigned to work on the project in parallel
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performance
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong experience in developing back-end dynamic website applications using Core Java 11
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot framework, including Spring Core, Spring REST, Spring JDBC, and Spring AOP
  • Experience with JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, and React JS
  • Experience with front-end tools like Babel, Webpack, and NPM
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to articulate the implications of design and architectural decisions
  • Experience working with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
  • Familiarity with Agile scrum teams and collaborative development methodologies

Nice to Have

  • Experience with public cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
