Job Description

About the Role

The U.S. Senior Licensing Engineer, Regulatory Affairs, at GE Vernova will oversee important technical licensing work scopes in nuclear engineering, primarily focusing on advanced reactor projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and implement limitations and conditions for U.S. Licensing Topical Reports (LTRs).
  • Draft licensing basis documentation for new reactor construction and operations.
  • Support customer Licensing Amendment Request (LAR) and Exemption applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory personnel to manage licensing documentation and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Address regulatory questions and customer needs effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of related work experience, including 4 years in commercial operating or proposed nuclear power plants.
  • Experience in leading complex engineering projects.
