About the Role
The U.S. Senior Licensing Engineer, Regulatory Affairs, at GE Vernova will oversee important technical licensing work scopes in nuclear engineering, primarily focusing on advanced reactor projects.Responsibilities
- Prepare and implement limitations and conditions for U.S. Licensing Topical Reports (LTRs).
- Draft licensing basis documentation for new reactor construction and operations.
- Support customer Licensing Amendment Request (LAR) and Exemption applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory personnel to manage licensing documentation and obtain necessary approvals.
- Address regulatory questions and customer needs effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of related work experience, including 4 years in commercial operating or proposed nuclear power plants.
- Experience in leading complex engineering projects.
