Job Description

About the Role

As a UX Designer at DoiT International, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of the company's cloud-based products and services. You will be responsible for developing deep contextual understanding of the public cloud, the business, and its users, and using this knowledge to inform design decisions. The UX design team is a key part of the company's success, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that design is integrated into every aspect of the product development process.

The role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, as well as expertise in design tools like Figma and Jira. You will be expected to produce high-quality design output, including sketches, workflow diagrams, and hi-fidelity prototypes. What You Will Do

  • Develop deep contextual understanding of the public cloud, the business, and its users
  • Produce sketches, workflow diagrams, and hi-fidelity prototypes using Figma and FigJam
  • Contribute to user research efforts and conduct regular usability studies and customer interviews
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to ensure design is integrated into every aspect of the product development process
  • Contribute to the development of the DoiT design system
  • Join the design team in weekly design critiques, operations meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's products and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

What We Are Looking For

  • BA or BS in UX Design or relevant professional experience
  • 4+ years of experience in the design industry
  • Experience solving complex product problems
  • Experience working in the public cloud and a solid understanding of cloud data and analytics
  • Expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX and UI design skills
  • Experience using Figma, FigJam, and Jira
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Kubernetes, GenAI, or CloudOps
  • Knowledge of cloud-based design tools and technologies
  • Experience with design systems and design ops
  • Certification in UX design or a related field
