About the Role
The UX UI Designer - AI Application role at 0g Labs is a unique opportunity for a talented designer to join a cutting-edge company that is pushing the boundaries of AI-native product design. As a UX UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive user experiences for AI-powered products, including agent interfaces, model interaction flows, and developer-facing tools. You will work closely with product managers and engineers to ship design from concept to production and contribute to product strategy by identifying UX opportunities and advocating for the user.The role requires a deep understanding of how to design for AI-powered products and the ability to translate technical complexity into clean, human-centered interfaces. You will be working in a fast-paced, remote-first, async environment, so you should be comfortable with collaboration tools and self-directed work.
What You Will Do
- Own UX and UI design for AI products, including agent interfaces, model interaction flows, and developer-facing tools
- Translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences, making the powerful feel simple
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and rapid prototyping to validate design decisions
- Build and maintain a scalable design system across web and product surfaces
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ship design from concept to production
- Use AI design tools like Figma AI, v0, Cursor, Midjourney, etc. as part of your daily workflow
- Contribute to product strategy by identifying UX opportunities and advocating for the user
- Develop and maintain design documentation and standards
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues
What We Are Looking For
- 2-6 years of product design experience (UX + UI) with a strong portfolio
- Demonstrable experience designing AI-native products, such as chatbots, agent interfaces, LLM-powered features, prompt-driven UIs, or similar
- Native fluency with AI tools in your design workflow, such as Figma AI, v0, Cursor, Midjourney, etc.
- Strong systems thinking, with the ability to design for complex information architecture while keeping the experience clean
- Proficiency in Figma (required)
- Familiarity with prototyping tools like Protopie, Framer, etc. (a plus)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first, async environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
- Experience with design systems and scalable design
- Familiarity with front-end development principles and languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of human-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies
- Experience with user research and usability testing methods
