About the Role
Pavago is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join their team in Kenya, focusing on creating intuitive and visually engaging digital experiences. As a UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's digital presence, working closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design and develop user-friendly interfaces. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct user research, usability testing, and user behavior analysis to improve product experiences.The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to design clean, modern, and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications. You will be working in a collaborative environment, communicating design decisions and interacting with the development team to ensure seamless implementation. The company values innovation and customer satisfaction, and as a UX/UI Designer, you will be expected to contribute to these efforts.
What You Will Do
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and user behavior analysis to improve product experiences
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Design clean, modern, and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Build and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders during design and development cycles
- Deliver organized design handoffs using tools such as Figma Dev Mode, Zeplin, or InVision
- Optimize user journeys, onboarding flows, landing pages, and product interactions
- Design with accessibility and responsive design best practices in mind
- Analyze user feedback, A/B testing results, and product performance to refine designs
- Ensure visual consistency across products, platforms, and customer touchpoints
- Support iterative product improvements based on analytics and usability insights
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Experience with design systems, component libraries, and style guides
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design problems
- Familiarity with front-end development principles and technologies
- Experience with usability testing, user research, and A/B testing
