About the Role

Pavago is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join their team in Kenya, focusing on creating intuitive and visually engaging digital experiences. As a UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's digital presence, working closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design and develop user-friendly interfaces. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct user research, usability testing, and user behavior analysis to improve product experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to design clean, modern, and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications. You will be working in a collaborative environment, communicating design decisions and interacting with the development team to ensure seamless implementation. What You Will Do

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and user behavior analysis to improve product experiences
  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
  • Design clean, modern, and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications
  • Build and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders during design and development cycles
  • Deliver organized design handoffs using tools such as Figma Dev Mode, Zeplin, or InVision
  • Optimize user journeys, onboarding flows, landing pages, and product interactions
  • Design with accessibility and responsive design best practices in mind
  • Analyze user feedback, A/B testing results, and product performance to refine designs
  • Ensure visual consistency across products, platforms, and customer touchpoints
  • Support iterative product improvements based on analytics and usability insights

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with design systems, component libraries, and style guides
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design problems
  • Familiarity with front-end development principles and technologies
  • Experience with usability testing, user research, and A/B testing
