## About the Role As a Velocity Demand Generation Manager at Stripe, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's demand generation strategy for the Velocity segment, which encompasses small to medium-sized businesses across the US, Canada, and Latin America. Your day-to-day will involve developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns to engage and convert prospects into customers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned GTM efforts, and continuously assessing and optimizing the performance of these campaigns. The Velocity segment is a high-growth area for Stripe, with a unique go-to-market motion that requires tailored strategies to effectively reach and engage the buying committee. You will be responsible for designing and implementing these strategies, leveraging a mix of digital content, paid media, content syndication, and targeted nurture programs to create a seamless, full-funnel experience for Velocity prospects. You will work closely with the AMER Demand Generation team, partnering with global campaigns, product marketing, sales development, and sales to bring full-funnel campaigns to life and drive business impact. Your expertise in demand generation and ability to collaborate across functions will be crucial in helping Stripe mature its marketing approach to the Velocity audience and evolve its demand generation strategy for this critical segment. ## What You Will Do - Develop and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies for the Velocity segment across the Americas, aligning with global campaign strategies and regional execution plans.
- Design and implement tailored marketing campaigns to acquire and nurture Velocity prospects at scale, leveraging digital content, paid media, content syndication, digital events, and targeted nurture programs.
- Collaborate with regional performance media experts to acquire and re-engage AMER Velocity prospects and customers through a broad mix of paid media tactics.
- Build and scale the through-partner demand generation strategy for Velocity companies, working closely with partner marketing to identify and leverage key partnerships.
- Partner with regional channel leads to develop region-specific marketing activations that unlock local opportunities for small to medium-sized businesses.
- Own key business and revenue metrics for the Velocity segment across the sales funnel, including conversion rates, lead quality, channel mix effectiveness, and pipeline health.
- Work cross-functionally to define regional requirements for marketing capabilities, MarTech stack, and lead management for scaled motions.
- Identify and pursue innovative new ways to reach and engage Velocity users, driving creativity and experimentation in marketing strategies.
- Serve as a thought leader representing the Americas in Stripe's Velocity go-to-market strategy, contributing to the development of global campaigns and broader strategy.
- Proven track record of driving business growth through demand generation efforts, with a strong understanding of GTM strategies and their application in the digital payments space.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, product marketing, and sales development, to align GTM efforts and drive business impact.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess campaign performance, identify areas for optimization, and implement data-driven improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and data analytics tools, with the ability to leverage these technologies to drive campaign efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong understanding of the digital payments landscape and the unique challenges and opportunities faced by small to medium-sized businesses in this space.
- Knowledge of MarTech stack and lead management systems, with experience in implementing and optimizing these systems to drive marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Familiarity with agile marketing methodologies and the ability to apply these principles to drive campaign development and execution.
- Experience with data-driven storytelling and the ability to communicate complex marketing metrics and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
