About the Role
The Vendor Relations Analyst role is a critical component of Stewart's vendor management team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing vendors across various networks. Your day-to-day tasks will involve executing national and specialized sourcing plans, building an ongoing vendor pipeline, and handling the onboarding processes for new vendors. You will work closely with the vendor management team to understand staffing and work volume needs, designing and executing cost-effective sourcing and screening strategies to ensure sufficient coverage of high-quality vendors.The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present offers, secure acceptances, and provide rejection notifications to vendors. You will also be responsible for forming and overseeing third-party vendor relationships, ensuring contractual obligations are met and the most profitable service is achieved.

What You Will Do
- Work with vendor management to understand staffing and work volume needs
- Design and execute national and specialized sourcing plans
- Build an ongoing vendor pipeline and handle onboarding processes for new vendors
- Source and prospect vendors using various methods, including ad placement, cold calling, and internet search
- Communicate independent contractor arrangements to prospects, including MCS policies, payment terms, and invoicing policies
- Present offers, secure acceptances, and provide rejection notifications to vendors
- Form and oversee third-party vendor relationships to ensure contractual obligations are met
- Negotiate and secure pricing with new vendors to ensure alignment with current MCS rates and market norms
- Perform support functions to assist in departmental processes, including maintaining accurate documentation and reports
- Follow clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 0-2 years of related work experience in vendor relations or a similar field
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to design and execute cost-effective sourcing and screening strategies
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established goals
- Property preservation experience preferred
- Knowledge of vendor management software and tools
