Job Description

## About the Role As a Vercel Development Representative, you'll be the driving force behind product adoption in the APAC region. Your day-to-day will involve identifying high-potential companies, tailoring outreach to key decision-makers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine messaging. You'll work closely with the Commercial Account Executive team to build a pipeline of qualified business and drive adoption in the Commercial segment.

The role entails a deep understanding of web development trends, the ability to communicate complex technical concepts, and a self-motivated approach to working independently. As part of the APAC Sales team, you'll be expected to navigate the nuances of the regional market, leveraging your knowledge of local trends and customer needs to inform your outreach strategy.

## What You Will Do - Identify and engage high-potential companies that could benefit from Vercel's platform - Research prospects and tailor outreach to engineering, product, and marketing leaders - Qualify inbound leads and generate outbound opportunities through personalized outreach - Partner with Account Executives to build pipeline and drive adoption in the Commercial segment - Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Vercel's products and services, including key features and benefits - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to inform outreach and sales strategies - Analyze sales data and performance metrics to optimize outreach and conversion rates - Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand Vercel's presence in the APAC region - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams

## What We Are Looking For - 2+ years of experience in a technical, sales, or customer support role for a technical product - Passion for web development and staying current with the latest trends and technologies - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams - Proficiency in Excel and other sales tools, with the ability to analyze data and inform sales strategies - Strong understanding of sales principles, including prospecting, outreach, and conversion - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing deadlines

## Nice to Have - Experience working in the APAC region, with a deep understanding of local markets and customer needs - Knowledge of Vercel's products and services, including key features and benefits - Familiarity with sales tools and technologies, including CRM systems and sales automation platforms - Certification in sales or a related field, such as a degree in business or marketing
