About the Role
The Vice President of Marketing at Pine Services Group is a pivotal position in the company's leadership team, responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives. This role is critical in a remote setup, where the ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams is paramount. The VP of Marketing will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to set pipeline targets, marketing-sourced revenue goals, and quarterly priorities, ensuring that marketing efforts are closely tied to revenue outcomes.The company, an ERP implementation and consulting firm, is undergoing an accelerated growth phase and requires a commercially minded, AI-forward marketing leader to drive its marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ERP space and the ability to leverage digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, and paid advertising, to reach and engage the target audience.
As a leader in the marketing team, the VP of Marketing will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and ensuring that the team is equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed in a remote environment.
What You Will Do
- Define and own the company's market positioning, value proposition, and brand narrative across all channels and audiences.
- Develop and execute a channel strategy that aligns spend and effort to measurable pipeline contribution, including owned, earned, and paid media.
- Serve as the primary marketing relationship owner with key software partners, driving joint go-to-market initiatives, co-marketing investments, and partner program participation.
- Collaborate with the sales leadership to define pipeline coverage targets and ensure marketing programs are sized to meet them.
- Build account-based marketing (ABM) capabilities targeting construction and adjacent verticals.
- Develop and manage the full prospect journey from first touch to sales-ready, with clear SLA agreements and feedback loops with sales.
- Prioritize and track pipeline velocity, not just top-of-funnel volume.
- Design and lead a multi-channel demand generation engine, including digital, events, partner co-marketing, content, and outbound campaigns.
- Own the company's event strategy, including industry conferences, vertical-specific events, webinars, and field marketing.
- Build content programs that establish the company as a credible voice in the ERP space.
- Oversee SEO, paid media, email marketing, and nurture programs, with a clear line of sight from channel investment to pipeline contribution.
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role owning pipeline and demand generation.
- Experience marketing technology solutions, particularly in the ERP space.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, and paid advertising.
- Proven track record of driving pipeline growth and revenue through marketing efforts.
- Experience with AI-powered marketing tools and technologies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing remote teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-backed decision making.
