About the Role
The Vice President of Operations is a critical leadership position at Aventum Search, responsible for overseeing all technical operations across the fund. This includes legal entity management, technology and systems, cross-functional delivery, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, with a minimum of seven years of experience operating across functions.The role entails leading a team of professionals, working closely with external partners, and driving strategic initiatives to optimize operational infrastructure. The incoming VP of Operations will report to the senior leadership team and will be responsible for driving growth, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
As a key member of the leadership team, the VP of Operations will play a critical role in shaping the company's strategy and direction. This will involve working closely with the CEO, CFO, and other senior leaders to drive business growth, identify new opportunities, and mitigate risks.
What You Will Do
- Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies to drive growth, improve efficiency, and reduce costs
- Oversee the management of legal entities, technology, and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including suppliers, vendors, and legal counsel
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and improve operational infrastructure
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure effective resource allocation
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging technology and data analytics to drive efficiency
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to drive strategic initiatives and shape the company's direction
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of seven years of experience in operations, with a strong background in technical operations and process optimization
- Proven track record of leadership and team management, with experience in driving strategic initiatives and improving operational infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of technology and systems, with experience in implementing digital transformation initiatives
