About the Role
The Video Content Strategist role is a critical component of name's digital marketing team, responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy across LinkedIn and YouTube. This role entails working closely with the Founder to extract key insights and shape them into engaging content that resonates with the target audience. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the editorial calendar, creating recurring content formats, and overseeing the production of high-quality video content.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, with a focus on content creation and strategy. You will be working in a fast-paced remote environment, collaborating with a team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results. As a Video Content Strategist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong narrative across all content channels, ensuring that every piece of content reinforces the company's positioning as a data-backed authority in A/B testing. You will be working closely with the Founder to capture insights, opinions, and stories from client work, and turning that raw material into high-impact content.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy across LinkedIn and YouTube
- Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring that all content is published on time and to a high standard
- Create recurring content formats, such as myth-busting posts and data-driven trend pieces
- Collaborate with the Founder to extract key insights and shape them into engaging content
- Write and ghostwrite LinkedIn posts and video scripts in the Founder's voice
- Oversee the production of high-quality video content, working with an in-house videographer and graphic designer
- Direct an overseas team of editors to ensure all content meets a premium quality bar
- Track engagement metrics and adjust the content strategy accordingly
- Develop a distinct written voice that feels authentic to the Founder and consistent across all platforms
- Manage the creative team, providing clear direction and feedback to ensure the final product is sharp and engaging
