What You Will Do

• Create high-quality video content using DaVinci Resolve, including memorial keepsake videos and other projects as assigned.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize, design, and edit video content that meets the company's standards.
• Develop and standardize video templates to increase efficiency and consistency across projects.
• Ensure all videos are edited to a high standard, with attention to detail, and are completed within the required timelines.
• Work closely with the team to identify design patterns and implement them into video editing projects.
• Use Excel to track project progress, manage timelines, and stay organized.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and suggestions for new video content.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in video editing, applying this knowledge to improve the quality and innovation of the company's video content.
• Communicate effectively with the remote team, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the video editing process, finding creative solutions to ensure project deadlines are met.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in video editing, preferably with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your skills and creativity.
• Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a keen eye for aesthetics and storytelling.
• Effective time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team.
• Ability to recognize design patterns and standardize video templates for efficiency.
• Experience with Excel, or similar project management tools, to track progress and stay organized.
• A degree in a related field, such as video production, film, or communications, is preferred but not required.
• At least 2 years of experience in video editing, with a focus on creating engaging and high-quality content.
