About the Role
As a VIP Travel Consultant at BCD Travel, you will be responsible for providing high-touch service excellence to key client travelers in the media and entertainment industry. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing travel arrangements, handling incoming requests via multiple channels, and providing active travel consultation to executive-level travelers. You will be the primary point of contact for these travelers and will be expected to provide exceptional customer service and guidance on travel policies and procedures.The media and entertainment industry is a fast-paced and dynamic sector, and as a VIP Travel Consultant, you will need to be able to think on your feet and handle complex travel arrangements with ease. What You Will Do
- Provide high-touch service excellence to key client travelers in the media and entertainment industry
- Manage travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and other travel-related services
- Handle incoming requests via multiple channels, including phone, email, and online booking tools
- Provide active travel consultation to executive-level travelers, including guidance on travel policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including changes to travel regulations and supplier rules
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell travel-related products and services
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement travel programs that meet the needs of clients
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of travel services
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in VIP travel, preferably in the media and entertainment industry
- Strong knowledge of the travel industry, including policies, procedures, and regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in GDS Sabre and other travel-related software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Strong understanding of travel supplier rules and regulations
Nice to Have
- Experience working with high-profile clients or in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of other GDS systems, such as Amadeus or Worldspan
- Certification in travel management, such as CTC or CTM
- Experience with travel-related software, such as Concur or Expensify
