About the Role
The Virtual Events Associate role is a key part of Ramp's marketing team, responsible for planning and executing engaging webinars, workshops, and online events. As a crucial member of the team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and external partners, to ensure seamless event execution. Your creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail will be essential in driving lead generation and elevating Ramp's brand.The Virtual Events Associate will work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement event strategies that align with the company's goals. This includes coordinating platform setup, speaker preparation, design materials, live events, and post-event enablement. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you will ensure that every event is delivered to the highest standard, providing a unique and engaging experience for attendees.

What You Will Do
- Plan and execute original, engaging virtual events that drive lead generation and elevate Ramp's brand
- Coordinate platform setup, speaker prep, design materials, live events, and post-event enablement
- Manage promotional efforts across email, social media, and partners' channels to boost event registration and attendance
- Collaborate with internal teams and speakers to collect and organize event content and materials
- Monitor event performance metrics to influence future campaigns
- Partner with external vendors and partner teams to ensure high-quality virtual events
- Support post-event initiatives, including content repurposing, lead follow-up, reporting, and sales enablement
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including speakers, vendors, and partners
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in virtual event management
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement event strategies that align with the company's goals
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in demand generation marketing, field or event management at startups or fast-growing tech or SaaS companies
- Ability to plan, support, and execute up to double-digit virtual events per month
- Proven track record of using project management tools such as Notion or Asana to stay organized and attentive to details
- Experience with virtual events technology and complementary tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Goldcast, Hubspot, On24, GTW, or similar CRM/marketing automations)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service mindset for working with vendors and internal teams
- Comfortable with design tools like Canva or Figma for creating virtual events promotional collateral
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Experience working with data and analytics to inform event strategies
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or related field
- Experience working at a fintech or finance company
- Experience in high-growth startup environments
- Exceptional at writing and designing for virtual events
- Experience working cross-functionally with direct and indirect (channel) sales organizations
