Visual Storytelling & AI Innovation Lead, Office of the CFO

About the Role

The finance team at Openai is utilizing AI to reshape core workflows, improve operating leverage, and surface practical lessons about AI adoption in enterprise functions. As a key member of this team, the Visual Storytelling & AI Innovation Lead will help turn finance's most important work into coherent programs that strengthen internal operations, inform product development, and demonstrate high-value enterprise AI adoption.

What You Will Do

• Lead the development of CFO-facing materials, including presentations, board materials, and executive briefings, ensuring high-quality visual storytelling and design.
• Collaborate with Global Affairs, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, and Marketing to ensure alignment with broader messaging, audience, and channel strategies.
• Identify and elevate flagship use cases of AI adoption in finance, working with Economic Research to package and amplify their work.
• Develop content and materials that support customer and external engagement, including demos, proof points, and transformation stories.
• Establish durable feedback loops across Openai to surface finance adoption lessons, product insights, and commercialization opportunities.
• Partner with GTM to adapt and activate finance and economic research content for relevant audiences and executive engagements.
• Create reusable design systems and templates to ensure consistency in visual storytelling across finance.
• Help Economic Research package and amplify its work through compelling narratives and visual materials.
• Work closely with the finance team to understand complex workflows and identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation.

What We Are Looking For

• Exceptional executive storytelling and visual design skills, with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into compelling presentations and narratives.
• Ability to quickly understand complex finance and operating workflows and distinguish meaningful, scalable AI use cases.
• Experience in translating between operators, executives, product teams, researchers, and go-to-market teams.
• Strong proficiency in GTM and Excel, with the ability to leverage these tools to drive insight and innovation.
• Proven track record of creating clear, credible narratives and demos that showcase the impact of AI on business operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
