About the Role
The Voice AI Research Participant role at mercor is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of voice assistants. As a participant, you will be working closely with the AI research team to provide feedback and improve the performance of voice assistants. Your input will be invaluable in shaping the future of AI technology. The role is contractual, with a commitment of 2-3 hours per week, and you will be working remotely from the comfort of your own home.The role entails making phone calls to a voice assistant, addressing real-life questions and providing feedback on the assistant's performance. You will be required to complete a short survey after each call, which will help the AI research team to improve the voice assistant's performance. What You Will Do
- Make 5 phone calls to a voice assistant over the course of a week
- Address real-life questions and provide feedback on the assistant's performance
- Complete a short survey after each call to provide feedback
- Ensure calls last between 5-15 minutes and end naturally
- Share feedback to improve the voice assistant's performance
- Participate in a contract role with a commitment of 2-3 hours per week
- Work remotely from the comfort of your own home
- Collaborate with the AI research team to drive innovation
- Contribute to the development of voice assistants
- Provide input on the performance of voice assistants
What We Are Looking For
- Must be 18 years or older
- Located in Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, or Nigeria
- Comfortable speaking English
- Willing to consent to call recording for evaluation purposes
- Feature phone user or smartphone user with limited or no data plan
- Limited or no prior experience with AI assistants
- Mix of genders and rural/urban locations
- Ability to commit to 2-3 hours of work per week
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to provide honest feedback
