## About the Role The VP, Corporate Development, xScale will play a pivotal role in driving the business model, financing strategy, and joint venture deal-making for the development and monetization of xScale assets. Reporting to the Managing Director of xScale, this role demands deep expertise across financial analysis and modeling, debt and equity fundraising, joint venture frameworks, and deal-making. As a leader in this space, you will collaborate extensively with senior global leaders and key partners to ensure the profitability and growth of xScale. The xScale platform is at the intersection of capital markets strategy and commercial deal-making, serving as the primary force behind xScale's financing and monetization agenda. The successful candidate will have a unique blend of financial acumen, business development expertise, and leadership skills to drive business growth and monetization strategies. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about shaping the future of digital infrastructure. ## What You Will Do - Develop and evaluate various business models to scale and monetize xScale assets - Utilize advanced financial analysis and industry insights to implement optimal strategies - Formulate comprehensive financing strategies for xScale's growth and monetization - Lead capital raising initiatives with the Managing Director of xScale - Identify and choose between joint venture partners, negotiating optimal deals - Oversee the financial performance and strategic direction of joint venture partnerships - Cultivate and manage relationships with external partners, such as investors and hyperscalers - Support the Managing Director of xScale in creating and executing a detailed scale-up plan - Maintain full accountability for financial and monetization efforts - Provide regular performance updates and insights to senior leadership - Track and report financial and operational KPIs against strategic goals - Identify and evaluate new monetization opportunities, business model innovations, and strategic partnerships ## What We Are Looking For - 10+ years of experience in corporate development, finance, or a related field - Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel - Experience with debt and equity fundraising, joint venture frameworks, and deal-making - Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead global teams - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with external partners - Strong business development and strategic thinking skills - Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field - MBA or other advanced degree preferred ## Nice to Have - Experience working in the digital infrastructure or technology industry - Familiarity with hyperscale cloud providers and their business models - Experience with real estate investments and joint venture partnerships - Knowledge of industry trends and market analysis - Certification in finance or a related field, such as CFA or CPA ## Benefits and Perks - Competitive salary and bonus structure - Equity participation in a global company - Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) or other retirement savings plan - Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options - Opportunities for professional development and growth - Access to a global network of professionals and industry leaders
