About the Role
The VP Marketing role at Gorgias is a pivotal position that will own the narrative and positioning of the company's Conversational Commerce platform. This leader will translate product innovation into market impact, making Gorgias synonymous with AI-driven customer and sales conversations. With the company's recent growth, including a $29M Series C-2 funding round, this is an exciting time to join a team that's shaping the future of ecommerce.The role entails deeply understanding the product, how it works, and how it delivers value to merchants. This understanding will enable the VP Marketing to educate merchants on the benefits of Conversational Commerce and how to implement it effectively. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative, curious, and empathetic approach, as they will work closely with the product and sales teams to launch new products and capabilities.

What You Will Do
- Define clear, differentiated positioning and messaging across the Gorgias product portfolio
- Educate merchants on the benefits of Conversational Commerce and how to implement it
- Partner with Product and Sales to launch new products and capabilities
- Build a content engine to power enablement, storytelling, and thought leadership
- Distribute the product narrative through various channels, including events
- Develop and execute GTM strategies to drive adoption across all segments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies
- Develop and manage the marketing budget to ensure effective use of resources
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on product marketing and GTM strategies
- Proven track record of driving market impact and revenue growth through marketing efforts
- Deep understanding of the ecommerce and Conversational Commerce landscape
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills
- Experience with Excel and data analysis to inform marketing decisions
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of the latest marketing trends and technologies
- Experience with content creation and distribution
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
